Connecting to the Communityhelps to engage the learner in authentic experiences that expose students to a wide array of STEM-related opportunities in which they can work side-by-side with, and learn from, industry professionals. These experiences will help increase interest in STEM-related fields and provide opportunities for a school-to-work pipeline.

P-3 and STEM-Related Engagementhelping teachers connect to P-3 (Project, Problem and Place-based Instruction) teaching and learning opportunities in the region. We are leveraging various STEMWorks Programs (Ten80 STEM League, FIRST Robotics, NGSX, Modeling, Code.org, MiSTAR, Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative, to name a few) to connect teachers to rich STEM-based teaching and learning opportunities.
